Coordinate measuring machine inspection can support evaluation of complex geometry, feature position, profiles, datum relationships and precision interfaces when appropriate. A useful CMM plan begins with the controlled drawing and defines part location, datums and reported characteristics.

Suitability depends on part size, geometry, fixturing, feature access, tolerance and the customer's reporting format. CMM use is confirmed within the project-specific inspection plan rather than treated as a universal verification method.

Traceability requirements vary by customer, component and application. The agreed project scope may connect the controlled drawing revision, material or supplied-item information, manufacturing status, inspection records, component identification and shipment documentation.

Required identifiers, lot relationships, record formats and retention expectations should be stated in the RFQ and purchase requirements. Golden Rainbow then reviews what information is available, how it should move through the manufacturing route and which records must accompany the order.

Final Inspection Before Shipment

Final inspection brings together the characteristics, records and release requirements agreed for the order. Before shipment, the applicable drawing revision, selected features, component identification, required documentation and packaging are reviewed against the approved project scope.

Final inspection does not replace earlier manufacturing controls. It confirms agreed release evidence after first-article and in-process activities are completed where specified. Inspection coverage, sampling and report delivery remain project-defined and are confirmed before order acceptance.
