Drawing and Finish Specification Alignment
Confirm the current revision, treatment callouts, controlled surfaces, masking zones and approved appearance references.
SURFACE FINISHING SUPPORT
Golden Rainbow supports project-specific surface treatment planning for CNC machined components, including anodizing, plating, coating and appearance requirements. Base material, geometry, masking, dimensional impact and acceptance criteria are reviewed before the finishing route is confirmed.
Share the current drawing and revision, finish specification, color or texture requirements, cosmetic zones, masking needs and inspection criteria for project review.

Drawing and specification review

PROCESS OVERVIEW
Surface finishing is planned as part of the complete manufacturing route rather than as an isolated final step. Golden Rainbow reviews the approved drawing, base material, surface callouts, masking and contact areas, appearance zones, dimensional interfaces and inspection criteria before coordinating the applicable treatment route. Process availability and supplier scope are confirmed for each project.
Finish type, color or texture, controlled surfaces, masking requirements and acceptance criteria are aligned to the current drawing.
Base material, component geometry, handling needs and treatment compatibility are considered before the finishing route is confirmed.
Appearance, protected interfaces and agreed dimensional or documentation requirements are checked against the project scope.
FINISHING OPTIONS
The applicable finish depends on base material, geometry, functional surfaces, environmental requirements, appearance expectations and the approved acceptance method. Exact treatment availability is confirmed during project review.

Aluminum components are reviewed for alloy compatibility, color or appearance intent, masking, contact points and dimensional interfaces.

Metal parts are evaluated for substrate compatibility, functional purpose, coverage, edge condition and any dimensionally sensitive areas.

Protective or appearance coatings are coordinated around geometry, preparation needs, coverage, masked zones and customer acceptance criteria.

Brushed, bead-blasted, satin or other specified appearance requirements are reviewed for direction, consistency and cosmetic-zone definition.

TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS
Material grade, heat-treatment condition, component geometry, surface preparation, masking and handling can influence finish selection and the final component condition. Critical fits, threaded features, sealing faces, electrical contacts and cosmetic surfaces are identified before the route is approved. No universal coating thickness or dimensional allowance is assumed without the project specification.
The specified treatment is reviewed against the base material, alloy or grade, material condition and intended application.
Threads, bores, sealing faces, mating areas and electrical contact zones are assessed for masking or controlled coverage.
Color, gloss, texture, grain direction, cosmetic zones and acceptance references should be defined by the customer where applicable.
QUALITY CONNECTION
Quality planning links the approved drawing, finishing specification and acceptance criteria. Golden Rainbow confirms the inspection and documentation scope for each project before production.
